نشرت موضوعا أخيرا في “الشرق الأوسط” حول الافتتاح السنوي لقصر “باكينغهام” أمام السياح، والذي يشمل هذه السنة لأول مرة عرضا للمائدة الملكية التي تعد للقادة والرؤوساء خلال زياراتهم الرسمية، وهي المائدة التي جلس إليها العاهل السعودي الملك عبد الله بن عبد العزيز خلال زيارته للمملكة المتحدة في نوفمبر الماضي.
لكني اعتقد ان القصة الحقيقية تكمن في المشاهدات وتجربة
الزيارة بحد ذاتها، سيما أننا نتحدث هنا عن انطباعات “أخوكم في الله” – العربي المتغرب في عاصمة الضباب.
بداية الدعوة كانت لصحافيين مختارين، وسبب دعوتي أنا من بينهم هو أن القصر الملكي يعرفني شخصيا لأني بادرت بالاتصال بهم لتغطية زيارة الملك عبد الله المذكورة آنفا وكنت الصحافي العربي الوحيد الذي استطاع أن يحصل على تفاصيل المقتنيات السعودية والإسلامية التي تضمها “المجموعة الملكية” والتي عرضتها الملكة إليزابيث للملك عبد الله خلال الزيارة، قبل عرضها.
أما سبب اتصالي بالقصر، فهو أنني “حسبتها” بشكل مختلف… فغالبية الصحافيين السعوديين والعرب حصلوا على تصاريح التغطية من خلال السفارة السعودية في لندن، والشهادة لله ان الأخوان في القسم الإعلامي بالسفارة لم يقصروا وعملوا ليلا نهارا في تلك الفترة لتوفير كل ما يلزم لرؤوساء التحرير، والصحافيين الذين اشتغلوا على التغطية.
لكن بما أنني مقيم في لندن ارتأيت أن أقيم علاقة مباشرة بالقسم الإعلامي في “باكينغهام”، ذلك لأنه بطبيعة الحال لا بد من بروز مناسبات أو زيارات مستقبلية قد تكون مفيدة لجريدتي، كما أنني أميل دائما للمفهوم الذي يقول cut the middleman (الغي الوسيط).
الجميل في الموضوع، هو الأسلوب الذي يعاملك به جميع موظفي القصر، فالابتسامة لا تفارق أفواههم، وكأنها جزء من الزي الذي يرتدونه. كما الجميع يتحدث بلباقة شديدة (ونوع من البرود المستفز أحيانا)…
وصلت مع مصور الجريدة، “رفيق الدرب” الزميل حاتم عويضة، إلى مدخل الإعلاميين، فابتسم لنا رجال الشرطة وقالوا لنا “تفضلوا”، وبطبيعة الحال تم تفتيش حقائبنا… لكن ذلك تم من قبل موظفات القصر اللواتي يرتدين زي الخدم، وليس من قبل رجال الشرطة.
بعد ذلك، رافقتنا احدى الموظفات الى القاعة الرئيسية (حيث تقع مائدة الطعام)، وهناك التقينا موظفي قسم العلاقات العامة المعنيين بالفعالية، وبابتسامتهم المعهودة كانوا يجيبون عن جميع الأسئلة. احداهن اعترضت زميلي حاتم وقالت له بنفس البرود المستفز “تأكد من أنك تصور فقط الأمور التي تقع في سياق القصة”، فأجابها
متساءلا”وماذا يمكن أن أصور غير ذلك؟”
فهمت بعد ذلك أن صحافيتان تركيتان تسببتا بنوع من البلبلة قبل دقائق بسبب اصرارها على التقاط صور شخصية لهما، رغم أن ذلك ممنوع… لكني لم أقبل أن يتم “تعميم” الانطباع على جميع الصحافيين الذين يبدون غير محليين، فابتسمت للموظفة عينها ونحن نهم بالخروج شاكرا اياها، ومن ثم اقتربت لأهمس في أذنها “وبالمناسبة… لقد تأكدت مع أن جميع الصور التي التقطناها تصب في سياق القصة”، فارتبكت عندها واجابت بنوع من الخجل “انت تعلم ماذا اعني… هناك اناس لا يلتزمون بالتوجيهات وحسب”.
وخلال الجولة حصلنا على معلومات قيمة، فمثلا يتطلب اعداد “السفرة” لدى وجود مناسبة عشاء للقادة يومين، تستخدم فيها 2000 قطعة (من شوك ومعالق وسكاكين وصحون وكؤوس) لـ 170 شخصا، فيما يحضر الطعام 20 طاهيا، ويقدمه 100 نادل يدارون بما يشبه اشارات المرور المعلقة في الغرفة.
وعند المغادرة، أخذنا أحد المرافقين، وهو بدا شابا في مطلع العشرينات، من الطريق الخلفي عبر المطبخ، فقال له حاتم “أراهنك ان الملكة لا تمر منا”، فابتسم الشاب مجيبا بصوت منخفض”على الأرجح لا”، وعندما لاحظت خجله قلت له “هل تسمح لنا بالتقاط صورة معك”، فاجاب هامسا “ذلك غير مسموح لنا”، فوضعت يدي على كتفه وقلت له ممازحا “لا أحد يراقبنا هنا”… فأجاب مبتسما بمزيد من الخجل “أنا آسف ولكني حقا لا استطيع”، ومن ثم بدأنا الحديث عن أندية كرة القدم والدوري الانجليزي، قبل أن نصل الى بوابة المغادرة حيث ودعنا أحد رجال الشرطة قائلا “استمتعوا باليوم الجميل” (ذلك لأن هذا اليوم كان من الايام النادرة التي تشرق فيها الشمس بلندن).
وفيما نحن نمشي مغادرين القصر، رأينا موكب الأمير تشارلز مقتربا… وهو أيضا قصة بحد ذاته، فموكب ولي العهد البريطاني لا يتكون سوى من 4 دراجات نارية، وسيارة “راينج روفر” سوداء في الخلف، فيما تشارلز وزوجته كاميلا داخل سيارة “جاغوار” في المنتصف.
ومر الموكب وسط المئات من السياح المحيطين بالقصر، الذين كانوا يأملون كذلك برؤية الملكة إليزابيث، لا سيما وأن العلم البريطاني كان يرفرف فوق “باكينغهام” (وهي الإشارة التي تدل على وجود “صاحبة الجلالة” داخله)… أي أنها كانت داخل القصر عندما كنا نحن نزوره، من جد انها “اجودية”.
